Seedance 2.5 is ByteDance’s premium video model, built for multi-shot clips with sound generated alongside the picture. Its API is open through BytePlus and OpenRouter, but it is expensive — about $0.23–0.30 per second at 720p and about $0.74 at 1080p — and it isn’t open on PictureToVideo yet. Join the waitlist for the day it is. Meanwhile, the generator here runs Kling 3.0, which also writes several shots in one prompt with native audio. PictureToVideo is independent and not affiliated with ByteDance.
Lengths here aren’t set yet; the estimate uses 5 and 10 seconds.

You give it a photo and a prompt; Seedance animates the scene from that frame, and 2.5 generates sound with it. The photo covers the subject and setting, so write the motion, the camera and the sound.
Seedance 2.0 is the widely available earlier version: image to video at up to 1080p, 4–15 seconds, with native audio. It isn’t on our model list; Seedance 2.5 is the version coming here.
Kling 3.0 animates a photo for 14 credits per second at 720p with audio, or 10 silent, in takes up to 15 seconds. Kling 2.5 Turbo does it for 6 — our Draft tier.
Prompts are plain text, so one you refine on Kling today can be re-run on Seedance once it opens. Results will differ between models, but nothing needs rewriting from scratch.
There is no free tier on PictureToVideo. At the provisional rate, one 5-second 720p clip of it would cost 220 credits.
The $2.99 starter pack buys 200 credits — about 6 five-second Kling 2.5 Turbo clips from your photo at 30 credits each, with no watermark.
The model launched in ByteDance’s own apps. Whether any app or site offers it free changes often — check the current terms of whoever is offering it.
