About us

About us: PictureToVideo is an independent site that turns pictures and prompts into video with Kling, Veo, Wan, Hailuo and Grok via API.

Last updated ·

PictureToVideo is an independent website for making AI video from a picture or a prompt. We run several video models through their APIs — Kling 3.0, Kling 2.6, Kling 2.5 Turbo, Kling 2.1, Kling Motion Control, Veo 3.1, Wan 2.5, Hailuo 02 and Grok Imagine — so you can try them side by side, pay per generated second and never juggle separate accounts. Kling 4.0 is announced but has no public API yet; it stays marked “coming soon” here until it does, like every model and feature we can’t run yet.

What we do

  • One generator, several models. Image to video, text to video, start and end frames, motion control, trend effects and video extension, each on the models that support it. Lip sync and talking photos are coming soon.
  • Honest labels. Every result is labelled with its quality tier, resolution and length, and our models page lists the model behind each tier. A Kling 3.0 clip is never presented as Kling 4.0, and we never swap in a different model behind your back.
  • One price table. Credits per second come from a single rate card that the generator itself uses, derived from each provider’s cost. Failed renders return their credits automatically.
  • Guides that cite sources, such as our Kling 4.0 release date tracker and our step-by-step guide on how to use Kling AI.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t pretend to be Kling, Google or anyone else. No look-alike logos, no “official” claims, no copies of anyone’s app screens or promotional videos.
  • We don’t offer downloads, APK files or a “Kling login”. If a website offers you a Kling APK, close it.
  • We don’t claim to generate with models whose API isn’t open, and we don’t sell “unlimited” plans.
  • We don’t present illustrations as model output. While our example stills are illustrations, they are labelled as such.
  • We don’t publish ratings, reviews or testimonials we haven’t genuinely collected.
  • We don’t generate sexual or suggestive content, deepfakes of real people or celebrities, or anything that endangers children. Our content policy has the details.

How a render works

  1. Checks first. Your prompt and photos are checked by our safety filters before anything runs, and a blocked request costs nothing. The video models apply their own safety filters too, and every finished video is checked again before you see it.
  2. Via API. The job goes to the model you picked, through that model’s API provider.
  3. Into your library. The finished video is stored in your account, labelled with the quality tier and settings that made it.

Credits are charged per generated second and come back automatically if a render fails. There’s no free trial: every render is paid for with credits, and the cheapest way in is the $2.99 starter pack of 200 credits. Your videos carry no watermark from us and stay in your library for as long as your account is open.

How we source and test information

  • Specs link to sources. Model specs point to the developer’s release notes or documentation, with the date we last checked them.
  • Comparisons show their method. When we compare models we publish the prompts, settings and test date, and we only judge what we actually rendered.
  • Prices carry a date. Official prices from Kling and others are quoted with the day we checked them. Our own prices come from the same table the generator uses.
  • No hype for unreleased models. Until a model has a public API, we report what its developer has announced and nothing more.

Corrections

Spotted something wrong? Email support@picturetovideo.org with the page and what’s incorrect. We aim to fix factual errors within two business days and note significant corrections, with the date, on the page itself.

Team

PictureToVideo is built and run by a small independent team. Articles are published under the PictureToVideo Editorial byline: we would rather sign as a team than invent personas, and every piece is reviewed before it goes live.
